I found it a little hard to sign up for the site and I have no idea how to get back to the profile page. It would be nice to have a create/sign in button and then a profile icon to show that I am logged in and edit my profile.

Is it normal behavior to show that I am only logged in when browsing the forums? When clicking on the profile icon on the home page and other non-forum pages, it shows the empty email/password prompt to log-in.
If it is a technical limitation, I understand and maybe make it more clear that the profile is only for the forums somehow.
It was an issue with the caching systems. Had a chance to track down the cause this afternoon.
Your login should work sitewide.
