Alright, this is neat. Jared from MOTU posted an unofficial build of CueMix 5 for Linux. It should allow you to access the DSP bits and in the UltraLite-mk5 and 828 (2024 edition)
It's an electron'ish app, but 1000% better than nothing.

Compressor, EQ and reverb.
Just gotta snag a used UltraLite-mk5 for a decent price, then we're all set to make a killer setup guide.
